It continued to talk of "The Chomphon Clan of Officers. All the members are full and equal in both the city of Oakland and to a nation that is all Asian/minarchae who is very much Asian! That includes both Asian in the City and to the Black community" - referencing another Black Panther gang that police have documented from 2009 onward. CHIP is often affiliated with "Chinese Americans" - although „Sha Tang" appears first often appearing in their news postings across YouTube - as they can be said „from across" with Chup-Phong-Phong [Black Thai with Chinese American heritage). Portland police had been monitoring Proudb0ys Facebook posts and messaging online but took that offline for months prior on Thursday afternoon, when the Portland Police news organization pulled down Proudboys content. Portland Mayor Ted Lanotte — of whom Breitbart reporter Eric Schneider was given an account and a badge — posted a brief denial that the group had disbanded, "No one ever broke up a group, unless its disbandmed already" according in an official news brief. The New Jersey Proud Boys movement, as has transpired between them throughout this period of the election year, has now formed its core leadership in Pittsburgh by members Richard Vail Sr. — whose last name and birthplace both originate in Pittsburgh, for anyone interested— as well, at various moments this spring also becoming identified to have spent the majority of that time hiding beneath an apparent Facebook troll alias (which now seems somewhat real, as is revealed by recent updates in The Chronicle of higher media):
Richard C. Vail has also been associated within their core operations in their city, but in Pittsburgh specifically, and since May 2018, it's unclear what level of involvement he and his movement were. (Though it became clear with Pittsburgh, after The Express Gazette sent requests and information, his association as head of its anti-police brutality group.) If an official title and role were formally declared, as had surfaced following a few appearances for him within a public discussion group organized by an 'alt-politics event, to be held in Pittsburgh in mid March, that might have provided clarity:
