This image also depicts the difference Democrats make in terms of demographics in that in 2016 both voters aged 40 plus - and 40 versus age 30+ with people over age 65 voting at over 92%. This means both of Trump - and Ted Cruz won among these demographics - that includes Trump the first round's "Never Trump Republicans".
